Elle doit entrer en vigueur le 1<sup>er<\/sup> janvier 2014. Pour rappel, l\u2019objectif est de g\u00e9n\u00e9raliser l\u2019assurance maladie\u00a0: l\u2019assurance sant\u00e9 devient obligatoire.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Elle se concr\u00e9tise avec l\u2019adoption du budget 2014, et la premi\u00e8re \u00e9tape de sa mise en \u0153uvre\u00a0: du 1<sup>er<\/sup> octobre 2012 au 31 mars 2014, les Am\u00e9ricains sans couverture maladie doivent s\u2019inscrire sur internet pour souscrire \u00e0 une assurance priv\u00e9e.<b>2<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">\u00a0La loi vise \u00e9galement les immigr\u00e9s \u2013 donc les r\u00e9sidents fran\u00e7ais aux Etats-Unis <b>3<\/b><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">Aussi, tout fran\u00e7ais r\u00e9sidant aux Etats-Unis depuis plus de 12 mois, et payant ses imp\u00f4ts aux Etats-Unis a l\u2019obligation de souscrire \u00e0 une assurance agr\u00e9e par l\u2019Etat am\u00e9ricain jusqu\u2019au 31 mars 2014. La CFE (Caisse des Fran\u00e7ais de l\u2019Etranger) n\u2019est pas agr\u00e9e.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\">A d\u00e9faut,\u00a0 les m\u00eames p\u00e9nalit\u00e9s seront dues, soit une amende de 95 dollars par mois par adulte, et 47,50 dollars par mois par enfants.
